So... you've been given the job of ordering Trophies (AHHHH) & you don't know where to begin.. I'm sure you have many many questions, Don't worry it's a simple process and we are here to help you through it!
Lets go through the steps:
STEP 1:
You will Need to browse through our catalogues & choose your trophies, We have a large selection of catalogues online, you can also drop in store to grab a hard copy. We Recommend you start browsing 4 weeks before your event (this can be a time consuming part of the proccess).
When browsing keep note of the trophy codes (found next to the trophy Image) you will need these codes to order. To make things even easier for you all catalogues have the trophies height information next to the code as well! (How Good!)
Catalogues can be found at the bottom of this page.
STEP 2:
An important thing to remember is we need your trophy order (not engraving details) in first. We really recommend ordering 2-3 weeks before your event, as a rural business freight takes just that little bit longer to arrive. This time frame also allows for any unexpected delays & out of stock / broken replacements.
Now for the actual ordering part / quoting, we prefer you order via Email (sales@trophyshopalbany.com.au), or drop your spread sheet instore. No hand written orders if possible.
What you need to include:
Your Club Name in the Subject: Example Albany Netball Club
Your award name: Example MVP , Fairest & Best
Trophy Code: Example A11265
Quantity for each trophy
If you know your event date please include that as well, Otherwise email that to us as soon as you do.
Think you might have a possible draw? Dont worry i'll explain the process of that a bit further down.
*After a Quote? Email us a list of the trophy codes & we will get back to you as soon as possible with prices*
STEP 3:
Once you have submitted your Order, we will send you a draft quote to approve, Please read over this carefully, check the numbers & award names are all correct.
If Youre happy GREAT! Simply approve the quote and we will order your trophies!
STEP 4:
The Engraving! (AKA the words on your trophy)
The biggest misconception is you need to have your engraving in with your trophy order - this is not true. We only need your engraving 1 week before your event (OR if you need more time, just give us a call and let us know)
What should I send?
A Clearly Outlined Email or spread sheet, including ALL necessary information.
Award name, recipient name, age group (if applicable), year , sponsor, Anything you can think of that you would like written on the trophy.
If you want to be super duper organised you can even write the trophy code next to the award name, you really can't give us too much information, the more the merrier!
Also include when you plan on picking up the trophies if applicable, otheriwse we will let you know when they are ready for collection. Include your event date if you havent already.
STEP 5:
We have received your engraving! YAY
Please give us a day or two to respond, but we will confirm that we have recieved your engraving as soon as possible.
We aim to have completed your order days before your event.
OH NO! BUT WHAT ABOUT...
Draws: It happens! If you know two weeks before your event, don't stress we will order another trophy! If its only days before thats fine too! We carry extra trophies instore and will just pick one off the shelf that BEST matches your trophy (size & price).
Spelling Mistake: Quite literally unavoidable, if you don't we probably will! If you notice one on your email / spreadsheet just flick us a quick email with the correct spelling. Or if you notice one and its already on the trophy? This is honestly the easiest fix, we will remove the plate & replace it, if it was our mistake just email us and we will engrave a new plate for you, if it was your mistake, thats fine, just email us with the correct spelling and we will engrave a new plate.
Key Points to remember:
- Browse trophies 4 weeks before your event
